FROM CASTLE
TO COCKLESHEDS
Dog Walk
Day
Sunday 14th April 2013
This was another very successful event held on a blustery but sunny Sunday morning. Fuelled by bucks fizz, bloody Mary's and bacon rolls at the Hadleigh castle starting line, the party set off for the cockle sheds at Old Leigh. Due to heavy rain during the preceding weeks, the trail was a quagmire, resulting in more of an obstacle course than was expected (it didn't seem to bother the dogs though). Still, this just served to build up more of an appetite for the seafood and beer at the finish line.
This Year's Dog Walk Day Will
Place In September
Due to popular demand, we are repeating this event although we have scheduled it later in the year -September (Date to be confirmed) . So that we have an idea of numbers who will attend, we would appreciate it if you could register your interest below. This does not commit you to attending on the day.
Thanks to Amy Jane Martin for organising this
exceptionally enjoyable morning.
